Importance and Necessity: The ever increasing developments in social and personal issues and the importance of religious scholars’ response to the modern issues has increased the necessity of the field of Jurisprudence to expand (without changing in the deep method of Ijtihad) in line with the development of issues. This expansion is achieved only through specialization of the Jurisprudence field and one of the major areas in Jurisprudence is Islam’s political decrees. Accordingly, the Al-Mustafa International University, as per its mission, has arranged the specialized program of Political Jurisprudence. It is hoped that with provision of the groundwork, the area of jurisprudence and Feqahat fulfil jurisprudential needs in political jurisprudence. Role and effectiveness: Being familiar with the Islamic teachings and politics on the basis of viewpoints of Shiite jurisprudence, the students are capable of answering doubts in the field of Islamic decrees, analyzing the Sunnis’ political jurisprudence and the current political systems in western countries.
