Importance and Necessity: Since the Holy Quran is the major source in the religion of Islam and as it provides the religious needs of Muslims and because having this knowledge is necessary for researching and teaching Islamic subjects, it is a must to have Techniques and Methods of Reading (Qerā’āt) program as an independent program so that the need of Islamic world for the lecturer and researcher is fulfilled. Role and Effectiveness: The graduates of this program, with the knowledge and learning acquired, can become researchers and lecturers in relevant courses and play an effective role in elevation and expansion of Islamic culture present their knowledge to other individuals. They can also acquire the knowledge needed in doctoral level and advance to doctoral level and be more efficient for the aforesaid plans.
