TRAINING COURSE

Definition:

The BA Islamic Law and Islamic Teachings program is the first educational level of combined seminary and academic courses. The program aims for the seminary objectives, uniting the university and seminary schools, following the path of the prophets and preserving the original school of Islam.

General Goals of the Program:

The BA Islamic Law and Islamic Teachings program seeks the following goals and will run based on the General Rules of Founding and Running Higher Educational Institutions.

1. Instructing experts in the knowledge of Islam, researchers, and lecturers in the filed of Islamic Law and Islamic Teachings.

2. Instructing religious scholars and Islamic disseminators who expand the Islamic teachings and culture nationally and internationally.

3. Attracting the students and scholars who are interested in doing research or study different fields of Islamic teachings.

4. Preserving the seminary traditions and methods, boosting its power points and utilizing the experiences of university for training the students and Islamic disseminators who are familiar with today’s issues.

5. Instructing talented students who learn the Islamic teachings in order to answer the doubts and defend the divine teachings.

6. Finding talented students and encouraging them to continue their education in upper levels.

Program Structure:

The BA Islamic Law and Islamic Teachings program is studied over 5 years due to the combination of seminary and university courses. It is studied in semesters and based on credit hours. There are 10 semesters and each theoretical course in each semester takes 16 weeks and 16 hours and practical ones take 32 hours, except for the foreign language (English and Arabic) and seminary courses which can take maximum 4 hours per week (after they are approved by the Education Board).

Role and Effectiveness:

On completion of the course, students can effectively disseminate in their capacities as disseminators in national and international domains, be useful in Islamic cultural centers, and continue their education in upper levels and have a more effective role in elevating the original culture of Islam and introducing it to the people and be helpful in the achievement of general goals of the program.
