Necessity and importance: The domain of principles of Islamic law is constantly expanding and new questions and issues are raised. It is necessary to run doctoral programme (research-based and taught) in principles of Islamic law in order to respond to the vast needs of societies in an academic and practical and to fulfill the need for enriching seminary students in religious sciences and improving their academic skills including deduction from (the Quran, Sunnah and intellect).
Role and skills of graduates:
After successful completion of the programme, students are competent in the field of principles of Islamic Law. With the acquired knowledge they can develop theories, teach or continue their education in higher levels.

Note: the syllabus of course units: Jurisprudence (1) to Jurisprudence (5) and Principles of Islamic Law (1) to (6) are the same as advanced Principles of Islamic Law and Jurisprudence accepted by Al-Mustafa International University
