Due to the importance of a constant and organized relation between the directors of Al-Mustafa University and the non-Iranian scholars in order to reflect their viewpoints and expectations, the regional advisors section was founded in 2004 and followed two approaches, namely the advising lectures and regional councils.
 
The regional advisor section seeks the following goals:
 
1.       Creating ethical and spiritual environment for students through regional advising lecturers
2.       Establishing mutual relation between the students and the Al-Mustafa University in order to get deeply familiar with the situation and needs of the nations and regions
3.       Getting in contact with the scholars and genius students  
4.       Respecting students through giving them the advisor and ambassador roles
The members of the councils are elected from 30 regions consisting of both male and female via direct votes of the students. They act in four male and two female specialized commissions.
 
a.        Male Specialized Commissions:
 
Specialized commission of education and research
Specialized commission of admission, graduates, dispatching and dissemination
Specialized commission of welfare issues, families and children
Specialized commission of culture and ethical teachings
 
 
b.       Female Specialized Commissions:
 
Specialized commission of education, research, admission, graduates, dispatching and dissemination
Specialized commission of culture and ethical teachings, welfare issues, families and children
 
Note: the secretariat of regional council can arrange meetings between different commissions (male and female).
 
The commission has so far held more than 100 meetings addressing various agendas; it has had 250 meetings with students from different regions and 50 meetings with directors in different sections of Al-Mustafa University to deliver its viewpoints.
